As you can see, Mooch's legs are very short. As a herding dog this is a plus in that he is less likely to get hit in the face by a hoof/foot but he does tire quicker than the longer legged herding breeds. Also, he heats up quicker in the summer because he is so close to the ground. He doesn't have as much space between his torso and the warm earth.
